Allye invited her friend, Karen, over to my place one Saturday and I turned on the instruments and mics in my studio room and let them play around.
Later I extracted bits and pieces from a song they had made up and then added instrumentation behind it. They were age 7, I think, so that makes it 25+ years ago. i believe I was using Acid Pro DAW on this one. That’s a drum loop with me finger keyboarding a bass from the Alesis QS7. Time flies. I looped the rest of the sounds from the kids playing around.
In 2024, I began working on the new Blind Mime Ensemble AI-glitch project and the “troupe” came up with this:
